The word “pharmacopuncture” comes from the Greek. fάρμακον – “medicine”, “poison”, and Latin “punctura” (pungo, pungere) – stabbing, stinging. This technique is also a special case of reflexotherapy.

Methods, indications, localization of injections during pharmacopuncture:

– subcutaneously with diseases of the joints and spine, is introduced into surrounding tissues, painful points, reflexogenic and segmental zones up to 1 ml, acupuncture points 0.3-0.5 ml;
– intramuscularly with a chronic pathological process in myoglosis (muscle tightening), trigger points up to 5 ml.
